It's a even trade I'd guess.

When I crashed my 00zr500 carb with 1250mi this winter they told me the book value was between 3000 and 4000 with mine being closer to the top end because of low miles and good condition. *The dealer said if I had traded it in though it would only be worth around 3000 so your maybe a little lower than that because of the miles. *So my guess would be between 2500 and 3000

Took the liberty of looking up your question at the NADA guide, this is what they give:- keep in mind it doesn't take into account mileage or accessories, just the reverse.

* * * 2000 ZR 500 EFI: low retail- 3360
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * average retail- 4425
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * high retail- 4710

* * * 1998 ZR 600 EFI- low retail- 2625
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * average retail-3450
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * high retail- 3675

* *To me the prices they give seem a little high, especially for the 2000. I own a 2000 ZR5 EFI, and paid $5100 out of the box. It is mint, but I think I would be hard pressed to find someone willing to pay $4700 for it.

I don't think that you could get even 3k for a '00 zr500 with low miles as the are evreywhere.
