My wife and I have have stayed in the North Bay/ Burke's Falls areas for the last 6 years. the lodging and trails there have been great but we are looking for a change for next year, for our annual snowmobiling vacation. I have been looking at Jolly Roger Inn and Resort Tapatoo in the Parry Sound area. Can anyone offer any comments regarding this lodging and area ?
Thanks

Ya I stayed there over the summer visiting family in Parry Sound. Very nice place. Clean and easy accessible for sledders. Indoor pool and Hot tub. If you call to reserve make sure mention that your sledder and that you want a room close to the pool on the lower/ground level. This way you can park your sled outside of your room.
I would recommend the Jolly Roger.
Good breakfast for the hungary man or woman.

Also been to both....... love'em. The Tap has cabins that are sweet so I'd say that was my fav. The area is awsome, home to Bobby Ore ya know. I highly recomend it. :inlove:

Snowhack the correct spelling of his name is Orr not Ore.

He is a Great man. Meet him when I was younger. My father and uncle played minor hockey him. Until he drafted to play the big league. My uncle went to Detroit and he was off to Boston.

Great Area to visit on a sled. I plan on going back to cross the bridge over the French River.

Been to the Jolly a few times with my wife. Pretty good snowmobiling hangout. Lots of fellow sledders there. Heated indoor pool and hot tub. The standard rooms are cheaper by 10 bucks and you can park your sleds outside your door, someone already mentioned that, but can get a little noisy at night time. We prefer the rooms towards the back that have the couches. Nice to lounge in after a long day on the trails and a little quieter. There 10 bucks more than the standard rooms. Great place. :D
