I have a formula stx sled, and I need to tighten the spring on the rewind starter.

has it always been that way or did it just come loose lately? if it just started it then the spring is about to bust.

My oldest son broke the pull rope starting the sled. He replaced it , and now when you pull the rope- it won't go all the way back in. He took it apart again and tried a new rope- same results. Thanks Vickie

then the spring needs to be wrapped a little tighter.
