Got a 94 ZR 700 and the lights just stopped working. No headlight or tail lights and no heated grips. Tried changing the Rectifier but no success there either.
Anyone have any suggestions on where to look or has anyone else experienced this problem?
Thanks for your help

Lighting coil must be burnt out? It's located on the stator behind the flywheel.
3003-013 is the part number and it about 65-70 USD.

Thanks I'll check that out.
Any way to test it?

You just test the resistance across it. Youll have to find out form the book (or someon who has the book) what color wires to check (out of the magneto) and what the resistance should be. I wouldn;t count on it, but it coudl be a broken wire, you'll find that testing it.

You can test for voltage anywhere on the lighting harness. There should be some unused connectors under the dash area, or just pull the headlight and stick the volt meter probes in the socket. If you are getting voltage when the sled is running you want to see if it goes above 13 VAC when the revs increase. When the voltage regulator goes bad it will blow all of the bulbs. Did you check the bulbs to see if they burned out? Check for power output right at the wires coming out of the magneto to help tell you if the problem is a broken wire.

yes, check any brown/yellow for voltage, it sounds like your voltage regulator is gone. If so it would take out all your lights and accessories including your handlebar warmers.
