OWNER LOCATED!!!

We left the GPS at the bar where our group found it. The owner of the GPS was indentified by the personal info left in the unit and his wife was called at home to let him know where it was. She got the info to him and he was able to pick it up before leaving for home. I'll bet he is a happy dude now.

Saw you put that post at Biskits site as well. You were working pretty hard to get that back to the owner. It is good to know there are still good people out there.

Actually, the owner of the bar where my group found it knew to turn it on and look for owner info, which he found. We found it in the parking lot of the Red's Wolf Inn. I don't know much about GPS's (yet) so we didn't even power it up. The bar owner called the home number, his wife answered the phone in Ohio and she was able to reach her husband before he left Newberry the next day.
