Ok Heres the deal... One of the brass fittings on my 97 XLT 600 MONOBLOCK pulled apart... they are two pieces fit into eachother... anyways it seized and now I am rebuilding it. I have all new wiseco's, bearings, pins, and rings. But I want to know if there is any way to clean the fittings out. I tried blowing in them but I think they need a fair amount of pressure to move the oil??? Should I be able to freely blow through them? How can I clean them out? Also the one that pulled out before I cleaned it up and smashed it back in w/ a hammer (haha, I wouldn't have done that if Polaris would have gotten a new one for me a month ago when I ordered it...) I, took a torch cleaning tip and made sure the end was still the same size as before, and I cannot pull it out w/ my hands anymore and am wondering if I should have put some locktite on it??? This probably sounds so barbarian... haha anyways let me know what you think.

Thanks For Your Time.
Any Help is Greatly Appreciated.

Did you have it bored/replated? Was the old piston a Wiseco or OEM? The tolerances are different.

No, I just honed it out. Which tolerances are different? I ended up getting a new brash fitting to put in, so i just gotta press the old one out and press the new one in.
