cheap 340

Hello everyone.

I was hoping to get a little information on a sled i just picked up. It's a 1989 Polaris Indy Sport 340. The odometer show 2400 miles, the engine starts/runs great, but the rest of it needs a little tlc.

the biggest problem is the "slipping" accompanied by a nice grinding noise. I think it's the driven clutch? (the one not on the engine) Does this sound like a common problem?

I need some other maintenence items such as ski runners, track, seat cover, gas and oil caps. Where's the best place to get all this stuff?

Also, i didn't recieve a title when i bought it. I do have a bill of sale though.

Thanks in advance!
Ken

you can get all that stuff at the dealer or Denniskirk maybe www.Royaldistributing.com but it's canadian company but will ship to the U.S for fair prices. As for that sled there are a really nice sled good and reliable plus tuff and should pull 70-75 mp/h or my friends sport 340 went that quick anyway.

I don't believe you will need a title. Here in Maine a bill of sale is sufficient, I think it would be similar in Mass... You'll find out soon enough.
