Hi guys, yesterday when I returned from a ride and shut down my machine I could hear the dreaded spinning sound coming from the PTO side...AGAIN!
I pulled the motor and split the case this morning to find that the distance sleeve between the two bearings on the PTO side could spin. All bearings appear to be mint.
Has anyone had this happen to them? Any suggestions on how to fix this problem? There is side to side play between the distance sleeve and the bearings, so my initial thought was to simply press the outer bearing on further. Does this make any sense?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
