How are the grayling and Houghton Lake trails? We are thinking of coming up next weekend. They are calling for warm end of next week though. Thanks

When I head up that way I always check American Oak Resorts' Trail Condition page. Here is the link.

Ok ......This topic was started almost a year ago but ...........we rode the Grayling trails yesterday Feb 25th, 2006.....There was a ton of traffic but typical for a Sat in that area. Unfortunately the trails were not groomed the night before and OMG they were rough. I put my new Rev platform to the true test yesterday and we managed to ride 151.2 miles for the day.

There is plenty of snow up there to ride on and if the trails had been groomed it would have been perfect but it's not a perfect world right? I still had a ton of fun and 2.5 hours of driving is not bad to ride some trails.

We always park at 4 mile Rd and ride from there, went up and around Kalkaska/Blue Bear and back to the truck..As we were pulling up to the truck to load them back on........the groomer was going out ! :bash:
