It's coming from some where in front of, or down below the feats with a "gut" feeling it might be from the drive belt, even if i doubt it

[B][I] I have a 96 500 classic touring with a noise like a chatter when powering up, usually up hills when under load....Just had the clutch rebuilt from the dealer...Still have the problem..Thinking now the chain might stretch...Won't do it when it's cold but after 30 miles or so...Had the chain adjusted last year....????? Hope it's not main bearings...

No offense, but I suspect you guys might be smoking too much ganja. Try going a full day without sparking up and see if the problem noise is still there. w00t  :lmao:

ganja
What is that??? !!! in northern Sweden we only have moonshine :inlove:
.... never the less, i'm an adrenaline junkie, only getting it the natural way ...
The annoying sound also can be heard when the front of the rail is pressed towards the chaise (e.g. when crossing a road or over a sharp bump) and going wide open (when the noise appears i always let go immediatly)
any Ideas?

Ok, i will check the track tension!
