Has anyone been to a robot wars event? *Has anyone built one to compete with, or just play with? *That would be a great way to get some tension out during the summer.

I hate to say it but some of the robots are pretty lame. *I mean some of the weapons that teams used make a few sparks but thats it. *

What you need is a robot with a .60 caliber mini gun and then i would watch or go to an event.

I'm afraid I'd have to agree on that.. Those robots are stupid http://www.snowmobileworld-s2.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif If I'd have the skills I'd build a robot that would smash all the others in tiny little pieces.. equipped with a bunch of sledgehammers and what is it called, the things you cut metal with anyway http://www.snowmobileworld-s2.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif not the wuss saws some of them use.. there's some that have something to flip the opponent over, that's smart, I'd have that too but that's only the beginning..
Total destruction is my robots goal http://www.snowmobileworld-s2.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

it seems as if there are only 3 kinds of robots on that show. Wedge type, spinning type and all the other crap. I can't remember which robot show it is with all the house robots that way like 400-700 pounds; but that is the kind of stuff I would like to see. Thouse big guys rap the little 180 pounders and throw them all over the place. The robot makes need some new Ideas if then want to keep that show up and running.

Yeah. Those stupid house robots come out and rip all the others to peices. *

My robot would be a square that weight 700Lb and had aluminum wheels tha came out the middle so even if it was flipped over it would still run. *It would have a Rotax 809 triple in it and on the front and back a .60 vulcan minigun like on the F15 fighterplanes. *And on the sides a acetylene torch that would cut right thru anything. *

Thats what this show needs. *Watching one episode is ok but its the same thing with almost the same robots week after week. *To much if you ask me.

what I really don't like is all the hype about them when they are 5 minutes from the bots fighting. * Have you noticed the one on comedy central plays sound effects when they are being hit?
