has anyone tryed the v-force reeds in the 800 xcr. *if so how much improvement did you get for the $$$$ and did you need any changes to clutching and jetting. *i am concidering it but have no experience with this line of product. *i know there were some serious recalls in the past and that concerns me. *any information wood be greatlly appreciated.

I have a Delta VF2 reeds and billet heads on my '99 XCR800 (thats the way it came with, when I bought the sled last Novemeber) When I first got the sled, after first few runs - I changes few things in the clutching. It runs great running at 8.3k revs. WL.

Ran them on my 99 XCR8, think they were probably a waste of money for my use. Normally just trails, long distance cruising. Never noticed a difference in milage or top end on otherwise stock machine.
