Hi guys. My buddy has a powder special 600 and has been acting up for quite some time now. It will all of the sudden bog down to almost dying and then it will pick back up quickly as if he were accelerating. He has run isopropyl through it and it ran fine for a while but then it continued after about an hour. Any ideas? Thanks!

wonder if you are getting warm and then your not getting good spark,,, maybe in the stator?? one other thing you could check is to see that your boots are on your wires good. I had a 90 prowler that ran great and then would start to act like it was running on one cylinder,,,, it turned out that the boot wasnt on good and would end up getting intermittent spark after it was ran enough (vibration maybe??)

have you tried disconnecting the kill switch? common problem with these sleds. my sled acted up the same way, disconnected the kill switch and problem was gone. something about the washers causing this problem.
