and i remember saying that i would never have electric start. i only used my pull cord before the season to start the sled, that's all.

Just can't imagine having a sled anymore without it and reverse for that matter.

I have a bad back and pulling the old 583
just dont cut it! And the triples pull over alot easier than the 583 well.. and the 670

but yes reverse would be nice! But I look at it this way...if you cant get it running you wont need reverse :D so I figure the electric start would be the 1st thing and save my back for turning the sled :)

I had no problem pull starting my sleds till one day in the middle of winter it decided not to start. By the time I pulled it over to check spark, compression, fuel, flooding etc.. I was ready for a dephibulator! It's been electric ever since.

thats how it started for me..I never owned a 583 before so it was all new to me,I thought gee a twin will pull over easy like my bros 440 :dazed: boy was I wrong, then when I flooded it the first time I was like ..."ELECTRIC START IS GONNA BE ON THIS BI#@H!"
and hunted and hunted till I found one..but daaamn that reverse is sounding good  Im thinking Im usuing my STX for my spare sled and or for my 13 year old son,and enjoy the sleds with the es/rev :)
