I'm about to put *a '92 Exciter II 570 back together and I have a small question about piston-2-wall clearance.

I'm on my original piston size as of yet, but due to some wear, I have 0.008" of clearance between my cylinder and piston. *

Does this seem to be OK, or should I investigate the next piston size? *I figure 0.008" is not too bad, but does anybody here consider that loose? *What is the service limit? *I've heard 0.007" and 0.009", but I'm not sure.
