I currently have a small server set up, with 8 computers. *The main box is a Windows 2000 Advance Server. *I had dial internet access, and all computers were able to receive internet connection, and view any page.

I then installed the Sympatico high speed access on the main box and the 8 user computers can see the internet,view most pages, but some simply won't load. *For example.. I can see hotmail, but not cnn.com.

Does anyone have any ideas why the high speed would affect this?

Sounds like a firewall problem, either in 2000 or your router. *Hook up one other computer directly to the server (no hub/router, essentially creating a 1 user LAN) and see if it still acts up. *If so, go to Mcirosoft's Developer Network online and learn what you need to know. *(All the info is there; some of it may just be hard to find.)
If the problem is in your router, call tech support for it.
