I thought last ride was a few weeks ago but ... Went riding yesterday,
may go again next week. 400 miles on car/trailer, 30 on sled and worth it.

Nice pics there. I'm glad my wife doesn't log on here, this would give her more ammunition to try to get me to move back to AZ.

Exceptional winter here Jim. Over 400 inches at highest elevations. Dams went from 40 % full to near 100 now. This only happens every 5-10 years but hope for another next year.

Good to hear AZ, :) Some nice pics. What was the temps when u were riding? Our winter was okay here, a long one but not much deep powder due to some untimely thaws. We got a dumping the other day and have been blasting around a bit here.

Hey AzCats...How far are you from Cochise? My dad lives there and that would be an excellent excuse for me to go see him in the winter instead of waiting until spring or fall. Too hot for me in the summer.

Temperature was around the mid 50's, toward the end of day I rode in a sweatshirt. With the low humidity here, the snow evaporates more than it melts. This cools the surface and makes the snow last a long time. It was nearly 60 when I quit riding and there was no slush anywhere. Supposed to be a chance of snow again today and again on Saturday.

Cochise is about a 2-2 1/2 hour drive from Phoenix. Best riding from there would be Hannigan Meadow which northeast of Cochise. I never rode there but it is real high altitude (9,000 + ) and supposedly the snowmobile capital of the state.

Hmmmmm...Dad never mentioned that. He must not realize how really sick I am, being addicted to sledding and all. :D I'm going to have to call him tonight.
