Gotta have one of these. Crappy Series III engine or not, I want one. A 800 in the Lynx 440 chassis. Awesome.

If you look closely to some of my veryyy old post...I did said that brp where testing a 1300cc turbocharged engine. Same as the 1000cc one but with different piston size (quest 650's one instead of quest 500 quad).
So here's the 1300cc non-turbo version.

Now that would be awesome in an Elite.

Almost forgot here's the 550 fan....pic's are all off of Dootalk

It was a 1300cc V-twin. The triple engine of the elite do exist with a blower in their sea-doo line. Easy retrofit...

Ya I know is that funny. But RK Tek tells me they can solve all the 800's issues. I like the looks and style of it. It's either that or i buy a 440 REV chassis and toss in an 830.

Yes but if they start selling them in North america I'm sure they will start building them here as well. That would mean the cost would come down. Oh and that $22,000 is in US funds and is the exchange rate and does not include any shipping to get it here to North America.

Same here

I had mentioned that the 4tech engines were modular in design

aka the Quest 500 +2 = V1000 or +3 = 1500 in the Elite/Seadoo

So as the Quest 500 and 650 are the same 4tech design hence the V1300

I also made this type of post on the DT.com corporate corner about a moth ago

aka stick the V1300 into the RT chassis or the V1000 with supercharger into the RT chassis

Would ya believe some might want a 4stroke 130-150hp SKIDOO

why would europe have a better Doo then we have?

"Built in Nordic countries for Nordic conditions" from lynx site
tougher suspension, since we have more bumpy trails than you guys "over there".

Lynx is more comfortable(capable of going faster) in rough trails than Doo's, not much though. :D

There groomed trails would be like a sno cross track over here Paul. Rough. Sled is designed to handle that. Plus we are too soft over here. We demand too many creature comforts like soft X package suspension so we can look cool cruising the trail at 50 kph.

I guess you have been looking on Dootalk. The price is in Norway, and here we have to pay much (and when I say much I mean much (50% or so of what the snowmobile cost from the fabric  )) in taxes an stuff like that.

If people don't bother to look over to Dootalk here is a linkto some more pics :withstupid: :

I know they can have it biut some of us would like to have it here too. Sure cruising the groomed trails in Ontario are nice Paul. But ever wonder what the trails are like outside of Ontario or Quebec. It's not uncommon to to have some of our trails look like a sno cross track as well. Some of us don't like to sit down and cruise either. I'd kinda like a sled and suspension that was designed with no rough trail compromises.

Hmm - those ski spindles look pretty wimpy to me! I guess the big difference would be in the shocks? I did see the clickers on the front which are a nice feature but I'll take mine with the 440 springs any day for big air.

No wonder they perform better on bumpy traiks. I get a kick outta peeps that think the HPG piggyback shocks are all that. They're a joke compared to Ohlins. And from what I've seen peeps gettin for their HPG's on E-bay, I may just have to put mine up for sale!

kennyman, any more pictures of the rear suspension. I am curious to see up inside of the rear arm where the shock mounts. The second link you had a picture of up inside the tunnel but it was a little to dark to get a good look at it. Thanks.

And by the way, it wasn't me that took the other pics, and I don't know who, so sorry if I confused you. So I have to thank the person who took the pictures that I gave a link too

Forgot to say that this ain't a "pic" of the 2005/2006 suspension, it's of the 2001 suspension, not much difference though. From 2005 brochure; The 2005 has new modified boggie-rails and new center-tube. The front arm mounting is 20 cm longer back which gives better balance and less skilift.
(the old one went straight up (even on the flat) , if you punched the gas lever to the bar    )
I also think the 2006 get even better shocks than before :D

Now you guys just have to be jaleous(???) or what ?
