Is it best to due a pressure check or a vacuum check on the motor. How much pressure should it hold and for how long? What do you use to close the exhaust/power valves and intakes off. Where could I buy this tool in Canada. This is for testing a 98 F111 Ski Doo thanks.

I don't know where you can buy a kit for it in Canada, but it's not too difficult to make one. You just need to make plates with a rubber gasket to seal off the exhaut manifold, then some plugs for your carb flanges, then a hose with a schrader valve on one end, and a shut-off valve and gauge inline. Put the line on your fuel pump impulse line fitting, then put about 8 psi in it with a bike tire pump, and close the valve. You shouldn't lose more than a couple of pounds within a minute. If leaking, you can use soapy water to help locate the leak.

I followed you on making the tool part but however I am lost after that. If I put the end of my line on the Impulse line will that not only check one cylinder, as all 3 cylinders are seperate. I understand that all 3 are sealed individualy. Would it not be better to check each one through the plug hole @ BDC with rigging my compression tester end to my new tool? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. :dazed:

I'm not familiar with the bottom end of your F3, but most bottom ends don't have center seals, they are basically just baffles. If you do have seals, then yeah, you can go thru the plug hole.
