Just got it yesterday.
360 cid, 3.55 posi rear end. I was told the hp is in the 350+ range. It moves pretty good and will probably give my buddy's Satellite with a 383 a good run and possibly beat it.

Very nice, looks like we have the weather to be taking her out for a spin. Is she a stick or an auto?

It's auto, but it's got a shift kit in it and will chirp the tires when it shifts into second.

I knew someone would say something about that. I just bought it, so I'm checking it for leaks. It seems like the power steering is leaking a little bit. No big deal. At least the motor doesn't leak anything.

No those were a true Mopar. Now they have what they want to call a Hemi, too funny.

I hear ya. It's all marketing. They're trying to capitalize on a legend of the past. Get this, next year on all of their hemi cars, they're making the hemi badges larger. They'll be no doubt if the car/truck has a hemi in it now.

Nice summer ride, but you still gotta borrow the wifes ride to go sledding.

Is that the man made lake in the background right around your place? Haven't been there in a while.

Yeah, that is Mirage Lake in the background. You should see some of the houses on that lake now. Very nice. There are actually two lakes back there. They just started putting homes on the other one. Very nice.

Actually, it was an original slant six car. It's got a 360 in it now, but all of the badges say 340. The guy that restored it did a great job

is that a ch4b intake? making 350 hp with a 360 is not hard so I bet he is right. do you know anything about the beast? assuming it has a 8 3/4 rear, I have a 4.10 I would be willing to let go. find a 3.90 ,would be a nice choice as well.

I'm not sure exactly what intake it has. I really haven't looked into it yet. As far as some other stats, here's some of what I know.
.030 over
Edelbrock intake
Edelbrock 750 carb
Keith Black Pistons
Mild cam
8 3/4 posi rear with 3.55 Richmond Gears
B & M converter (I think) with shift kit
255/60-15's in the rear

I like the 3.55 gear that is has. This car is a driver and I plan on doing just that. If I drive it to work every now and then, that's about 35 miles of highway driving each way. I don't think I want a tall gear. With the current gear, I can cruise the freeway at 65-70mph and be right around 3000RPM. Any taller of a gear and I'd be turning some high R's. It still gets out of the hole nice!

Kowalcs, my car(gtx) is a 67. I do have a few of in progress pic, but for some reason (computer illiterate) I cant send them e-mail keeps coming up hotmail does not allow this. I have sbc and can not figure out how to send through theem. Anyways back to the car, it is a decent driver, not really a show car. I have done to the engine .030 overbore, 10 1/2 .1 K/B pistons, 509 mopar cam, edelbrock heads, headers, aluminum water pump and housing, 3400 stall ati convertor, reverse manual valve body 727. The first time I had it at the track I ran an 12.16 at almost 114 mph. Every Sunday there is a cruise at Bakers on Milford rd about 4 miles north of 96. I was there yesterday (not with my car) just to drool. Kevin

Dooman, 850 double pumper. Finally got it painted this week, but for some reason it did not turn out as expected. I now nneds some serious wheeling out. I am putting it together though. I need the paint to dry a realy good before I wheel it. Kevin
