You can do it..... *The first month or so is the worst.

I smoke a pipe for about 20 year and almost 3 years this Feb that I quite smoking. Good for you guys.....its day 6 and I am going to hang on.....as for the patch I am not using it this time, But it does work very good.....Its a lot healthier of an addiction that smoking

I have quit too many times to count and I`am ready to try again.Reading this post and thinking at 3.75 a pack 1 a day =like 120.00 a month now that`s sad..I`am going to go buy the patch today and pick my start day soon..

3.5 years so far for me. I took Zyban and it worked.

Quit about a hundred times before one day I REALLY made up my mind to do it. Took about a year to get it out of my system, now I could care less, even though when someone first lights one up it sure smells good, after that it smells like crap!
One of the things that helped me quit was the price @ $1.25 per pack, I had enough! Was used to $0.40 cents, cant see how anyone would pay 4-$5.00 a pack now! Ouch! That must hurt the wallet!

Good job... I've been smoking for about 8 years now, and quite a couple of times already.. I've also had some periods that I strictly sticked to one cigaret a day. The times I have quit, it wasn't much of a problem, the first couple of days were evil, but after that it sort of gets out of the system.. Last time I quit was about a year ago when I got a new girlfriend that absolutely hated smoking. When we broke up a couple of months later I got kinda depressed and I just got back in the same old stupid routine again :/

I started back in 88 when I was in the Navy, I have quit a few times but to no avail. *The important thing is is to not stop quiting.

I have tried to quit countless times.... Every time I try I'll do good till I drink, then It's lights out. #### the bad luck!

I quit April 96. I have not touched one (literally) since. I won't even hand my wife her pack. I don't miss them a bit. That's how I pay for my new sleds.

quit a little over 4 years ago....tried the patches, that lasted about 2 hours before I tore it off and rolled it up and smoked it. *The day has to come when you are totally ready!!!!!!

its not as hard as people think it is to quit, i smoked for a little while, and quit like a month ago, but i didnt smoke for THAT long, so maybe if you do it for a LONG TIME it takes a lot to quit.

Go to a party or something .... smoke like a pack of smokes and drink like it will be your last ..... hahah * The next day you will not feel so well .... and I'll bet , you she will not touch a smoke that day .... cuz if she does she *will get sick !!! *2nd day it will be a little easyer and by the 3rd day with out one .... she should make it .
