:bash: anyone have any idea where to buy an inexpensive aftermarket thundercat cdi box , coils and pickup new? I was told someone is selling a replacement box with a 1 year warranty for around $160. is this a hoax or is there such a box? I also am looking for good new aftermarket coils and ignition pickup. who specializes in electronics? I am out west were there are virtually no snowmobile parts. any help would be great. Gregg :bash: I am not a snowmobiler as we have no snow but have the t cat motorr mounted in something else(see attachment)

Can't help you with the parts your looking for but that sure is a cool looking toy.

Dang, that's wild! How fast does it go? The only place I can think of for the CDI is Dennis Kirk. Otherwise, check out the classifieds on this site. Maybe someone is parting out a sled. Good luck.

Aftermarket CDI's will be tough, if not impossible to find. Coils can be had from places like Royal Distributing, if you want to save even more on the exchange to Canadian dollars. Royal Distributing (http://royaldistributing.com) There are online Cat parts available from Alpha Sports in the US and Browns Leisure World in Canada. Browns (http://www.brownsleisureworld.com/Parts/SNOWMOBILE/) Your next source might be ebay and the classified sections of this site and others like HCS and ArcticChat.com

I have no idea how fast it goes as it has never run worth a dam since I put it together, thats why I want an all new ignition system for it. it should move pretty good though once its running right. it has a hooper 1100 kit, jaws pipes, black magics 41 pro series flat slides and v force 3 reeds. it weighs in at 350lbs. :hallo1:

That's exactly what I would of said. www.denniskirk.com

When you buy from there, they give youa sweet sticker, that has flames that look like their being blown back, and inside the flames it says, dennis kirk.
