1997-1999 Yamaha Snowmobiles - Electric Start Ring
Yamaha Snowmobiles '97-'99
Yamaha Motor Corporation has announced a recall of the following 1997-1999 Yamaha snowmobiles equipped with electric start:
600cc - ALL
700cc - ALL
800cc - ALL
Included are all factory shipped electric start units AND dealer/owner installed. Yamaha has identified a problem with loose bolts o*n the ring gear, and in some cases, a broken ring gear. Yamaha recommends contacting you dealer to make repair arrangements, whereas the ring gear and bolts will be replaced at no charge.
