The rubber intake flanges between the motor and the throttle bodies on my 2003 600 efi mountain cat have small cracks across the top. I noticed them half way through the season but instead of replacing them I used liquid gasket to seal them and had no prob. I had a new set arrive today and just wanting some input. Should I replace them? I know the answer is yes but I guess I just need a little extra motivation during the off season to do extra work on the machine. Thanks for the replys!

Look at it this way. If the sealing job doesn't work you will lean your motor out and fry it. Change them.

I looked mine over good while I had the engine in pieces and noticed they were cracked so I got new ones.

Thanks for the input! Guess I know what I'm doing on Saturday. Just another excuse to drink beer in the garage! lol.
