All the connections were cleaned. All the switches were checked and are good. The spark is very erratic. Any ideas out there? I hate electronic gremlins.

I know you said you checked ALL the connections.... did you pull the ends off the plug wires???

I would suspect a bad coil. or somthing in the CDI. *

Does the sled run. *And if it does do you have power for the gauges and lights.

The sled runs and the gauges all work.The spark is very erratic.

I've got a spare coil I'm going to try.

R.V.R. have you check the resistance of the spark plug resistor caps? I doo belive that they should be 5k omh.
