I was just wondering what one of these sleds were faster down the lake, did yammy make a faster lake sled then skidoo or not ??

The 'original' Mach Z is still the one to beat.... I'd be more curious to know if the new 1000 twin can beat it? I usually don't get involved in the 'who beats who' threads, but unfortunately, looking outside, there's not a lot to talk about around here....

I've owned both, MachZ !!!

Stock vs Stock, the Z has it. But, the fastest stock bodied sled with mods I have ever seen was a SRX build by Hauck. Sled had porting, bored carbs, v force, clutching and STOCK pipes and it would eat the lunch out of many a tcat and machs. Sled is consistantly in the 6.7s in 1000 ft on ice.

From what I have seen, the Mach Z would be quicker, however with a little clutching and fine tuning on the SRX it can become a true rocket ship, can't beat the sweet sound of it either. I seen a SRX hit 119 mph on radar this past winter consistantly.
