: 03 F7 Efi , Would It Kill An 03 Rev 800
skidoo670 06-25-2005, 03:17 PM I am looking at buying an 03 f7 efi, I only want it because there apparently really fast and have great styling. Will these sleds take the rev 800`s ?? the 03-06?? will it take the new rev 800s? one more qeustion...... what will the f7 efi do flat out ?? in mph??
puree 06-25-2005, 11:57 PM way too many factors that will come to play in this race,,,, yes, they are fast, I was hitting 75 mph in 660 foot and 104 mph in 1000 foot with my big butt on mine and thats with some clutching only,,,,
yes the f7 is fast, many are fast just stock but if u want to consistanly beat rev 800's u will need to have a good setup. the newer rev 800 works better than the 03's and 04's. or seems so in my area. i would lay money on my f6 to stay with and beat 03 rev 800s unless they have been tinkered with so your chances are good if u know what u are doing. as far as top end, u will get a million different answers. some guys like top end, some guys like it in 660 or 1000'. i like it in 600 or 1000' so i see lower than normal speeds because i am setup for that. some guys also run the sno pro track ( 1.375" lug ) for trial riding and sno drags which i also run, so that will shave a few mph off on top when u race something with the 1" track. like puree said, way to many factors. good luck.
willy291 06-26-2005, 11:22 AM i raced a few Rev 800's last year they were 03's, and i beat them without a problem, as far as the other years i could not say, but as stated above way to many factors come into play, but you shouldn't have a problem stock for stock
piped bravo 07-09-2005, 10:47 AM 04 S/P ...pretty much stock...but geared it up a little....first week of april on ice..did 110mph on radar gun.....fast enough for me with that track

no_friends_in_powder 07-11-2005, 09:32 AM f7's are fast. i saw one dust an rx 1 on the 1000m track.
dajetfixx 07-18-2005, 04:29 PM I did get a chance to run an 05 rev 800 with my ZR800EFI. Mine is stock with an 1.25 ripsaw track and clutching. I pulled away from the rev on the lake last year, rolling start about 20MPH. Funny thing was the ZR600 decals on my hood. :lmao: Phazerhater was witness to this! An F7 should do the same. I don't know if the rev was clutched or not?
steve92skidoo 07-18-2005, 07:43 PM Like others have said....what is the race? Also another thing to remember is that the intent of the REV is not to be a lake racer. What I'm trying to get at is that each sled has its own element. It's like saying what will win in a race a Nextel Cup Car set up for a road course or a Nextel Cup Car set up for Daytona. Too many variables.

tunedbyear 07-18-2005, 09:21 PM as far as flat out 04 f7 1 in track 102 1.075 megabites 120 mph. pure stock.new style belt, keep exhaust valves clean.

piped bravo 07-21-2005, 05:41 PM digital speedo`s on the cats are very, very close....mine is always within 1-2mph tops.
