I need to buy a helmet for riding my atv (polaris 700 sportsman) but I also would like be able to use it when riding sled in the winter. I currently have a modular helmet (which I love) but last winter I rode more in temps above 30 degrees than I did below it. I will probably wear it more on sled than on the wheeler so my question is.. Is there a good helmet that can be used for both? I was looking at the newer ski-doo snow-x helmet where you can pull out the inards to make it a little cooler in the summer. Or will I cook my coconut in the summer with it?

Polaris used to offer a helmet like that, Im not sure if they do anymore.
I believe it was called the "switchback" helmet. You could wear it with either a faceshield like a traditional helmet or you could take off the faceshield and put on a visor like what a MX helmet has and just wear it with goggles.
Also, you could get a MX helmet that comes with the breathguard. Wear the breathguard in the winter and take it out in the summer.
