1999 Sport/Sport Touring/Transport - Tie Rod End
Models Affected:
1999 Sport (Model number 099SB4DS) 1999 Sport Touring (Model number 099ST4DS) 1999 Transport (Model number 099SU4DS) o*nly certain serial numbers are included in this recall.
A Polaris dealer will have a complete listing of all serial numbers included.
Some steering tie rod end nuts were over-tightened during assembly which may cause tie rod end damage. Damaged tie rod ends may break, causing a loss of steering control and possible severe injury or death.
If you own o*ne of these snowmobiles and are not certain that this has been performed, please contact your dealer.
