SB: 2001 Skidoo MX* ZX 440 LC - High Comp. Inserts

PROBLEM:
Limited warranty coverage cannot be validated o*n listed models with factory installed high compression inserts.
Models Affected:
2001 MX* ZX 440 LC, 1715/1716, ALL
SOLUTION:
Skidoo dealers will change the high compression inserts for for standard compression inserts. Main jets have to be changed from 350 PTO side and 340 MAG side to 320 o*n both sides. Also, calibration screws o*n TRA pulley must be set to position number 5 (instead of position number 4).
PARTS REQUIRED:
Standard Compression Insert - Part Number: 420 923 870 - QUANTITY: 2
Main Jet - Part Number: 404 101 300 - QUANTITY: 2
Contact your Skidoo dealer to see if your model is affected. Refer to bulletin number 2001-0004. Dealers will o*nly service models if symptoms exist or are noticed.
