1998 Yamaha Snowmobiles - Hyd. Brake Bleed Screw
Yamaha Motor Corporation has announced a recall of the following 1998 Yamaha snowmobile models:
1998 VX500/600/700
1998 VT 500/600/700
1998 MM 600/700
1998 MSRX 700
1998 SRX 600/700
The recall concerns a hydraulic brake bleed screw that may not have been tightened properly at the factory.
Yamaha recommends immediate return to dealer to correct this problem. Operation of affected snowmobiles may cause loss of braking ability which could lead to serious injury or death. Yamaha recommends contacting your dealer to see if your model is affected.
