Hey all. A buddy of mine has a 1996 ZRT 600 and is trying to go all orange with accessories. He has the following in orange: ski loops, ski saddles, hyfax, grips, recoil handle, graphics, and wheels. The problem is that the I.D. of the wheel bearings is to big for a direct fit on the shafts yet to small to use the original bushings that came on the sled. also the hub of the wheels are thicker than the originals, so I am figuring this is a no-go situation. Does anyone know of a place to buy the orange wheels to fit? Has anyone every painted the wheels on their sled? If so how did it hold up? I really need some help here as he does not know of the non-fitting situation yet. We were planning on putting the sled back together on Friday.

Worst case does anyone make straight black wheels to fit this sled because I know that the green are not going back on it.
Please help,
Z-Rider

I painted them one year and they held up pretty good,,,, a simple little touch up after a long weeks trip and your good to go.
I once bought some sort of hubcap looking piece that you snapped into the wheel and mine were green. I actually believe they came right from cat, but not positive. if you could find something like that, you could use screws to put them in if you had to.
