Hi, recently bought a polaris 1989 650 triple indy. I cleaned the carbs twice. It idles good however when you give it gas it will boug at first and shoots a fairly heavy mist out the carbs. The one carb always has gas laying on the inlet of the carb by the air cleaner and when you turn off that carb will have steam come out and also will steam out spark plug hole as well. That plug looks brand new still and the other plugs are fairly white. The mains jets are 300's. It been years since I had messed with an older sled so any help would be appreciated. Thanks

if it's steaming out the plug hole and the plug looks new it isn't getting enough fuel IMO.check to see if the carbs are in-sync.pull one of the carbs off and change it with another and see if if the same cyl. acts up or if the problrm follows the carb.if the sled has sat along time I would rebuild the fuel pump too. when you pull the carb off the cyl. that is acting up check to see if there is fuel in the bowl. no fuel fix pump.if there is fuel you may need a new needle and seat. and clean the carb again.I would put new gasline on from the tank to the pump and all the carbs. replace the vacuum pulse hose to the pump also, if it hasn't been replaced in the last couple of years too.good luck
