IF your sled is tuned and clutched right it won;t be a race.I have a 1995
MACH I and the engine is stock with a 4 pro comet clutch . My sled out launches a 600 ho and pulls away no problem i have bought 3 newer sleds to take my old mach I's place , the newest one a 04 800 and i go back to the 670 mach i besause it pulls so hard My son thinks I'm crasy but on the open trails I'll give up the good ride for the explosive power.I win all the drag races the 800 will pull me on the top but he takes a long time to catch up .I installed a S style hood belly pan and gas tank on my mach and it feels lots lighter then before .

thats what i was hoping to hear. what clutching adjustments can you make on the stock clutch without spending alot of money.

I thought the HP was about 118? Wasn't the 99HO more like 128?

The stock single pipe 670 was 117 I think the 501 rotary valve disk, 200 degrees of port timlng, 44mm carbs and twin pipes will give more than 1hp .The Ho and mach I are all most the same on a dyno .the mach Ihas more port timing but the
HO is tunnel ported .
