I have been looking for better Front/Rear shocks or Rear suspension but I'm not sure what to go with. I know there is allot of different brands out there but Don't know what brand is better. Should I go with piggybacks in the front or not? I know I should of bought an X package but I bought this in the middle of the season of 04. Its the limited Edition early release.
I jump allot, ride in Deep powder, and this stock suspension is not getting it done. I'm 5'10" 190LBS...... By season I'll be 180 or so.
Thanks

That totally slipped my mind. I looked at them a while back for a ZX chassie and they are a nice suspension. I'll give them a look.
Thanks

I'd get a set of X package (or comparable) shocks and have them vavle/sprung to your weight and riding style. I've got the X-package and I had to get mine revalved and reprung (in the middle of the season) to accomodate my riding style.
Checkout www.hygearsuspension.com (http://www.hygearsuspension.com) I've heard lots of good things about this place.

I've thought about getting a set of x package shocks but I need a better rear skid as well. Jumping I don't want to bend or break anything. For the rear the expert X will probably be my best bet but the front is still a ?.
Also where are you from in MI?
Thanks
Ian

IMO, I'd still recommend the X package shocks properly setup for you. The X package shocks are pretty good shocks once they are setup correctly. Hygear Suspension has a complete package for what you want and I've heard really good results from guys that has work done there. Same goes for the rear skid, if you get that setup properly with your X shocks and new torsion springs, that skid can handle quite a bit. Since you have the renegade and probably are worried about bending the rails on the skid, skidoo has a rail reinforcement kit you can buy...I suggest that. It's for the Summit, but it may fit the renegade...not sure though. Or you could order the rail reinforcements from the 440X race sled...those may fit also. Also, for the front end, I'd get the 440X race sled chassis bracing to help stiffen everything up up front.

I think I'll try the x package shocks first and see how that works. I would probably be better off just getting a 440 racer and make it a Renegade. Put a 800 in and be set.
Thanks for all the info guys
Maybe we can go riding some time Skidoomatt?
Thanks again
