I'll recommend for those down south to book a guided trip through Tsaina Lodge via Mike Buck. A couple hundred of miles of Glacier Travel through remote mountains that will blow you mind for scenery. I have a few photos posted in my gallery. Just look in the Valdez phone book under Tsaina Lodge. They also have cabins on site that can be rented. Its approxamitely 35 miles from downtown Valdez. As for snowfall. Between 600-900 per year.
