600 HO * * 116 hp
700 * * * * *124-128 hp

Guess we will have to line em up and see REV-600HO *http://www.snowmobileworld-s2.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif

I am thinking that the 600ho will keep up with the 700 until about 90 mph. Then its just displacement that will win the long race.

Assuming the REV chassis is lighter than the ZX (and I would think it is) I would say the 600HO might even be quicker out of the hole than the 700. But like mxz7 said, there's no replacement for displacement in the long race.

Engine to engine the 700 is stronger.

Sled to Sled the 600HO is the way i would go.

I had a 600 grand touring and raced my buddies 700ledgend. *He beat me down low but in top end there really wasnt that much diffrence. *

The 600HO is a much more sofisticated race engine, *The last time skidoo put HO on a motor was the 670HO and that motor still inspires fear in competitiors.

the 600 HO is only slightly less powerful than the 800.

it will beat the 700 but not by much!

I believe the 600HO is a lot less powerful than the 800. *
600HO 116-118HP (Very good for a 600)
800(non HO) 134-136HP
I think the 600 HO driveline is more efficient than the 700 and 800 though, also it is lighter than the ZX chassis, which will lead to it being a quick sled

From what I have been able to find it works something like this. 600 HO is aprx 118 hp. They claim it is like gaining 1hp for every 7 lbs you save. The REV is 20lbs(40 lbs less then a poo) lighter then the past mxz so you pick up just about 3 hp. so now you are at 121 hp The REV with the new clutch has 12 % less rotating mass,That has to be good for geting more hp to the ground.so for what it is worth the new 600 HO should be runing with the good old mxz 700. If we are lucky might be a hair faster.. *1 Hp for every 7Lbs saved looks like Im going on a diet.... *lol * http://www.snowmobileworld-s2.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif
