Northern Door, Fort Kent, ME. Excellent accomodations. Down town. Not great trail access (through some parking lots) but not bad. Good price.

Caribou inn, Caribou ME. Excellent accomodations and restaurant. Good bar and hot tub. Trail access to ITS83 and 90. Gas very close. Not too expensive ($95.00/night).

If you need anything, go to Red's Recreational. Tell them Uncle Buck sent you!

The Stardust, Houlton ME. Nice clean rooms, not too expensive and direct trail access to ITS83.

Pamola Inn, Millinocket ME. Very good accomodations. Good price. Down town Millinocket. Excellent trail access to ITS 86.

Katadin Inn, Millinocket ME. Not my first choice. Inside rooms, very warm. Across the main street for trail access. Good price. Pool and hot tub.

John's Four Seasons, Jackman ME. A bit rough, but cheap. In the center of town with good trail access. Gas close by. Bring a sleeping bag.

New England Outdoors, The Forks ME, Nice cabins. Hot tub. Good food and bar. Acces to ITS 87. On the expensive side, but get a big group together and stay at one of the cabins.
