i WOULD LIKE TO KNOW FROM YOU GUYS THAT HAVE THEM HOW THEWY WORKED IN THE LANSING UP TO UP OF mi and other states how they have eworked for you. I like them both but reception s the key for me. I'm not concerned with the cost either.

I have an I90 and I get reception in Lansing along the major freeways and then lose signal a couple miles off of 75 on Route 2 in the UP.

In Maine Nextel only works in the southern part of the state, ATT works but will roam once you are out of southern Maine.

I think that I'll end up with At&t. I love nextel but everyone i know has had both and they get better reception ,less dropped calls, and lower rates. Ad there is no long distance fees or roaming with at&t for the plans we get here in Ann Arbor. They figure most people never roam. my uncle lives 20 miles from Ann Arbor and he had to use his work address to get a At&t phone do to this fact. I would like to hear from everyone though some more.

Caleb, I have had no problems with Nextel's reception except north of the bridge and 12 miles off of 75 on M33. *I have no complaints especially since it is a work phone and doesn't cost me a dime, just like my truck. * http://www.snowmobileworld-s2.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif *My company has a total of 55 of them and they are in Detroit, Hazel Park, Flint, Saginaw, Mt. Pleasant, Lansing and Jackson.

We have verizon. When we are in wis riding or there for the snowmobile races or such the phones work great. (motorala star tacs) digital, cellular, phones

I live in East Lansing most of the year and I have CenturyTel, soon to be AllTel, my roommate hace Voicestream and his GF has Nextel and nextel is bar far the clearest at least around here. My roomie is one of my best buddies and its nice we have different carriers because out in the boonies at least one of us will get signal.
