I picked up a 1991 phazer ii and I can't seem to find a repair manual for it. Yamaha doesn't Clymer doesn't make one for the 1990 and up models until 1997. Is this because the motors did not change in those years? I'm a Personal Water Craft Mechanich not snowmobile, so I could use a little help.

Problem is I'm not getting any spark. Does anyone know if the On/Off switch is an open or closed circuit??? The head lamp lights up when cranking. I don't see any place for a lanyard is there one? Seems to be getting fuel, so I just need some sparky and it should run!

I went to ebay and did a search for "yamaha shop manual". I did see a few manuals for the phazer there. check it out.
