I have just purchased a 2000 MXZ 500 and am looking for info on it. Should I put 96 studs in this machine or just leave it stock. Is there any other suggestions you may have for me on this machine?

A few studs always help, acceleration AND braking!not to mention the added traction on slippery, icey trails.IMO

or trade it in for a sit and spin http://www.snowmobileworld-s2.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wow.gif *http://www.snowmobileworld-s2.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wow.gif
96 down the ctr would work fine.

After trying stop on an icy trail and doing a complete 360, I never ride without them.

I never have and never will stud my track. *Although there have been times they would've been nice to have, these times just don't rise often enough to need studs.
