can someone please help. I have an issue right now with my pc. I am running windows 2000 and while online (high speed) i can surf fine. the pc runs smooth but it will not load pictures. for example, when i am on sw like right now it says there is 93 items remaining on that bar near the bottom of the browser page. I check my task mannager and shows that there is a " system idle program" running and the cpu number is always in the high 90's. i am assuming if i can shut this program down i will then again have full loading capability but when i try and end the program, of course it says i cant. story of my life with computers LOL. any help? thanks

the cpu idle is the percentage of your cpu that is available for use..under light cpu load it should be in the 90%+ range.

it sounds like you have a security setting that is preventing you from displaying pic's.

not sure why it would do that..when's the last time you cleaned out your internet explorer temp files? I've had my pc do that once in a while but usually only with the odd pic..not all of them.

with internet explorer open click on tools-->internet options and inside click on "delete files" in the temporary internet files section mid way down..try that..depending on the amount of cached files it could take several minutes to empty out..Steve
