Just wondering what an Idler wheel is...
How much would a new one go for. I've got a chance to get a brand new one for about 20 bucks... worth it or not?

An idler whell is one of those wheels that is in your skidframe. Im sure you have noticed that you have a larger rear idler wheel and possibly more in front. I cant tell by your pic if you do or not, but alot of sleds out there have several along the rails to reduce wear on the sliders.

Some people also call them bogey wheels. Im not sure if the wheels up on top of the skidframe are called idler wheels, but I think that they are.

Also, I wouldnt replace any wheels unless its damaged as they are kind of expensive.

You mentioned E-bay. Always wanted to get into that but didnt yet becuase I hear so much about scams and you need a credit card, which I dont have. I search jsut to look sometimes on there and see alot of good stuff.

Yeah, a credit card is needed, but e-bay is so large and everything is very secure. I've got 120 plus transactions on ebay! That's actually where I saw the idler wheel. I still like to buy from stores becasue I see what I'm getting, and I intend on spending like 500 at the snowmobile show. I want to get a fully decked out Yamaha jacket (blue).
Hopefully they have some good deals!
