Anybody know if 10 tooth extrovert drivers will fit on a rev? I've got a Blair Morgan that already has 10 tooth, but just wondering about the extra length on an extrovert...Thanks

I believe some people have said they had issues with the drivers contacing the front of the suspension rails....some trimmed down the rails to fix this. Try searching on DOOTALK, you should be able to find an answer there if nobody here knows.

There is no reason to go to DooTalk for anything. We have the answers here.

Ya just have to ask nice. :D

There is no problem using the extrovert drivers on your REV big guy. Just as SkidooMatt mentioned, there can be an interference problem between the drive teeth and the tips of the rails. All that has to be done is to shorten the rails about 1/2" and everything is cool. mxzwfo has done this to his ZX chassis.

I'm trying to figure out if I can put extroverts (regular, 9 tooth) on my zx-x chassis sled, and from the reading I've done, it seems that you have to trim the rails to put extroverts on some (but not all) zx chassis sleds, but I thought I read something about people putting 10 tooth drivers on the revs without having to trim the rails. I still haven't gotten a 100% answer on whether you have to trim the rails on my 800 mxz-x, but in the readings I've done, I don't think I saw anyone talk about trimming the rails on a rev.

I'm still unsure about what I need to do this on my sled. I also posted the question on doo-talk, but I got even less responses there than on here (I think doo-talk has some 'auto-ignore' function if you pust there with the same username you use on snowmobile world. )

I think it's too early in the season for all the 'experts' to be on here yet, I'm going to try re-posting this question (how to put extroverts on a zx-x chassis sled) in a few weeks and see if I get more responses. It looks like it's going to come down to me buying the parts before I know if they will fit for sure, then taking the shocks out of my skid to see if the rails need to be trimmed, and then trimming them, if necessary. One thing I think I'm going to do for sure (even if I keep the stock drivers) is to buy a pair of bulkhead/front heat exchanger protectors. Those are a good idea no matter what drivers you run.
