Check out this website for the lodge I guided at. Waterbury Lake (http://www.waterburylake.com) If any of you guys are into fishing northern Saskatchewan, book yourselves in! I will be guiding up there next summer as well.

Make sure you check out the little video they put up on the website http://www.snowmobileworld-s2.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif

Sweet pics rocketman. ITs nice to see you released the large fish. I'm an avid catch and release fisherman, and have treaded water with muskies to revive them http://www.snowmobileworld-s2.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif *One thing though the fish look pretty small next to you, lol. The fish that you are releasing doesn't look quite as big as the others . *Just razzin ya rocketman. *I am very jealous http://www.snowmobileworld-s2.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

All trophies are released. We keep only smaller fish, and only enough for shore lunch.

Actually, the fish I am releasing is the 45.5 inch one. I know...it does look small compared to me, btu the guy was too scared to hold it! http://www.snowmobileworld-s2.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif *http://www.snowmobileworld-s2.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif

Rocketman, that first pic reminded me of the lake my Junior Ranger camp was on west of Kirkland Lake back in '79.

Problem with Adrian as a fishing guide....he makes the fish appear smaller than they really are. LOL

Highlander....fishing license is $50 CDN.
* * * * * * * Waterbury lake is a Catch and Release lake, so you can't take any trophies with you. We only keep enough fish for lunch each day. They used to send home 40lbs of fish per person (back in the late 70's) then they figured out that doing so might not be good for the fish population. We don't send any home with people usually. You might be able to make special arrangements, but then you have to deal with US customs trying to get back into the US with frozen fish...

Great pics. Any Pickerel or all Northerns? Fly-in fishing is the best. I go on a trip every year (end of May beginning of June).

I hope they paid you well, for that hard work.

Shore lunches every day, out in the boat all day.

I don't know how you did it. http://www.snowmobileworld-s2.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif

Thanks for the pics. *Looks like a great time. *Maybe someday.

We have some walleye in some of our portage lakes, but in Waterbury Lake we've got lake trout and northern pike, with arctic grayling in the feeder rivers.
