I need new skis for my 2000 Formula 500. My sled came stock with steel skis. I was wondering if the stock plastic skis from a 2000 MXZ 700 would fit my sled??

Thanks!

correct if i'm wrong guy's, but they should fit no problem, you may need to get spacers to put into the saddles of the ski's.

can anyone else back me up??

i cant remember if that model was a zx chassi or a s-chassi sled . but if its the zx w/ a.s.d.a front end they will bolt right on , but the s-chassi front end you will need the right spacers for the fit . your local hardware has them plus the bolt size is differant between the two models also. the dealer does,nt sell just the bushings there part of the saddle and the whole conversion kit . i converted the wifes old formula w/ d.s.a last yr and found this out when i did it . ended up finding a set off a old mach at a salvage yard that someone put the kit on .

To put ZX skis on a S chassis go to your dealer and get 2 spacer bushings for each ski. Part # is 505 071 100. You also will need the 12 mm bolts and nuts. Press the 10 mm bushings out of the saddles and press the 12 mm bushings in. At $1.97 each for the bushings I don't know how you could do it with junk from a local hardware store. :bash:
