If i get some trail porting done, how much hp would i gain.. should i get head work done also..(to match the porting) If so how much should i shave off the head? By taking 10.000 off the head on a f7 how much would that raise the compression....thanks

if you get a good prot job you could gain up to 10% more hp, you will mostly gain throttle response and midrange power, shaving your head will help if i remember right it is 10 psi per 10 thou. dont qoute me though it may be 15 thou. be sure not to go over 145 or you will have to run race fuel, you will definately have to run unoxigenated 92 octane. with the porting I would also recomend puttin one size larger main jet in, but i think that is EFI, u may want to talk to your dealer about that. a good place to get porting done would be bill bune enterprizes, the number is 763 576 9924
