I just bought a 1997 Mach z 800 and it had been sitting for 2 years it runs really good but is a big sluggish and seems to be using alot of injection oil as it smokes quite a bit. How hard is it to adjust the carbs after cleaning them and also is it a big deal to adjust the oil injection cable?

Well first thing I would suggest is cleaning the carbs. Which you know, but also put fresh fuel in the tank before you fire it again. If the carbs have not been messed with prior to removing them then as you unscrew things that have adjustments then make notes on how many turns and such. that will keep you pretty close. Then you can make small adjustments as needed. I am sure we can hook you up with some stock settings here if you need them. I will search and see if I can help.
