Has anyone stayed @ the Queens Motel when in Hearst? It's right beside the Companion which is probably the best place in town. Just trying to find an alternative if we find it booked up. Don't suggest the Queens Hotel as the sister in law wouldn't be impressed w/ that place.

I stayed there about 3 years ago. The companion was already booked up. Mind you, we spent all our time at the Companion, basically only slept at the Queens. It was OK, nothing to dread. By no means should it be considered a last resort, it's just fine IMO
