I would like some opinions please. *I have a 98 Ram SS/T that is a company truck. *It runs like a champ but needs a trans. *It also has 108k in miles. *All maintainance and fuel is paid by the company I work for, (comes in handy in the winter) he he. *I have the chance to swap out for another company truck that is soon to be available. *It is a 2000 Ford Excursion Limited with 75k in miles. *I just don't know if I want a tank like this. *What would you do? *http://www.snowmobileworld-s2.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sarcasm.gif

It depends on your driving habits. *Are you typically hauling around the whole neighborhood...if not, then I would not take the Excursion. *Don't get me wrong, I do believe bigger is usually better, but that thing is a bus. *I have a Yukon XL and love it. *Do you have the opportunity to drive it for a week or so before you make your decision? *That would be the best way to go. *If you're usually the only person in the vehicle, I would much rather have the bed for hauling things than 10 seats to haul people, assuming you already have a vehicle for the family. *If you're considering buying either vehicle, then I would still stay w/the truck...the Excursions' resale value was bad enough before, but worse now since they won't be making them anymore. *Just my .02..... I say the Excursion Rob. You don't use your truck bed enough to need it really as the seats comeout of the Ford remember. And if it has the diesel then it'll be great. I'll enjoy it when it's your turn to tow us around He He! http://www.snowmobileworld-s2.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif I'd rather have it over your truck, though it is a nice looking truck. Is the ford the bosses sons former ride also. Love how you get his hand me downs LOL. If he only had a sled to pass on to you LOL

It is a son's ride but a different son, this one is out of Lake Odessa. *He does ride sleds but unfortunately he rides Ski Doo, no offense. *He has to tourings with 583s. *Last year he bought a 670HO and swapped motors then sold the 670HO chassis with the 583 and still made a profit.
